As you can see no snow, I have the handlebar as far as it would go, probably need to push the saddle up may be an inch. It fitted very well. I set it up singlespeed, fixed gear can wait.

I put the as supplied pedals on to get going, big mistake. The right one semi seized on me after a few miles. I knew I should have junked them. the only thing I can think of is that backed away when I back pedalled and did not tighten up.

I have chain tugs coming, not really needed.

Water Bottle cage to put on.

Phone strap to put on.

Saddle yet to decide. Brooks seems the obvious.

Pedals I have but realistically I want walking friendly type that I do not currently have.

How do you like it so far? So, the saddle and pedals are trash?

Mine should arrive next Thursday. I've been riding my cross check as a SS for the last couple years, and I'm looking forward to converting it back to a geared bike.

Webster, thanks for posting my photo. I think my problem is that I don't post photos often enough to remember how. Did you have to resize it down?

Shouldn't have to resize if its not too big. Just click on the picture icon in the reply, then choose from url, throw in the link and uncheck the retrieve option and it should work. Or just put [.img] url [./img] tags around the url (remove the periods/spaces).

Yeah I did that and it complained about the file size, hence the question. Since i was on my phone I didn't really have access to something to scale the photo.

maybe a little bit off topic but I want to ask how to call this blue... I love it so much and want to have it on my next frame

Blue silver would be my bet, it might have some pearl in there too but it's hard to tell in a picture.

I would call it more along the lines of lavender?

Just finished a parts bin project. Frame is a Raleigh Technium with a bunch of parts I had hanging around.

Gotta say thanks to all who participate in this forum. It's been an excellent resource for building up my first fixed gear bike.

New picture of old bike. I'm fairly pleased with it right now. I don't really want to change anything other than the pedals, but they get the job done...
