I took a few pics of my Wabi Lightening SE. It was an Enve 1.0 fork, Easton stem, Ritchey bars and seatpost, FSK cranks, Dura-Ace brake calipers and levers (modified to remove shifting mechanism). Total weight is 15 lbs. It is a single speed, not a fixed gear though.

The wheels are used Mavic Ksyriums from circa 2009 or so? The hubs are thus some type of Mavic design. Since Mavic wheels are designed as a system I doubt those particular hubs would be sold separately. As an engineer I love the Mavic wheels because of their unique very dedicated approach. Though I agree with many others that it's a pain to work on them due to difficulty in obtaining parts.

Well these Dura-Ace levers are built with Di2 electric shifting. It was pretty simple to remove the micro switches and the wiring. Then I just staked the shift mechanism in place with 3M 2-part epoxy and voila - brake levers only. The shape of the hoods is very comfortable. I started out with Cane Creek levers, which are more retro looking, but they are just not as ergonomic as the Dura-Ace units.

My newest complete build and first in about 2-1/2 years, which curiously was also a Soma Rush. This one is meant to be retro casual urban. I very pleased with how it turned out. More info in the Soma and Pake Lounge thread ---> http://www.bikeforums.net/singlespee...lounge-18.html

I found Jen Green's website at Custom Head badge Portfolio
She was great to work with and although it would have been too much to do the filigree along the shield she did do the helmet and it did turn out great. Thanks. |

Nothing original, just a stock Wabi Classic. I still have to install my honey brown Fizik tape, and that will probably be it until stuff wears out, except for different tires maybe.

Also why is there a kangaroo on a Canadian made product? Shouldn't it be a moose, or a maple leaf, or perhaps a hockey stick?
