Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Loving this thread, some awesome bikes here. Just wanted to add my first fixed gear I have been building up (and taking down and up again repeatedly) over the last few months. Recent changes include a new 44T Miche chainring. Welcome any comments/criticism....Cheers!

Yeah, looks good. Just put some decent grips on those bars (just now Ourys, for the love of god). Oh, and the internet at large frowns up non-drive side pics

So I put this old Cinelli seat that's been laying around for a while on my Cinelli. It makes sense and is quite a comfy seat!
