Can't wait to bring it on a ride. I have been itching for a ride all week!
There's just something about that wheelset that I just love. Digging this build.

I suppose this is my thread specific introduction.
Needed something to commute around campus while at college. 2013 SE Draft.

New Daily Driver by xtravisxedgex, on Flickr

After riding for a bit and diving into everything a little deeper
DIY gold wheels, bullhorns and saddle.

Flossin' by xtravisxedgex, on Flickr

The plunge that showed up this afternoon. First bike build ever. Hoping to learn a lot!
Wasn't going to buy but Leader had a deal for $300 off their 2015 725 frameset with free shipping, saddle, headset, and bars.

The upgrades to that Draft are gorgeous!! The darker wraps and saddle go so well with the gold rims.

Great deal on the Leader! Have fun with the build!!

That new All-City chainring is pretty hot. It's very zen.

Here is my "townie" bike for just riding around town. I wanted a cheapo frame that I thought no one would want to steal. Then I put all my old parts from my Bianchi Pista on it. So the cranks, pedals and wheels are from the Pista. The seat, seatpost and bars are new. It's actually has many more scratches than you can see here.

I also have a little music video of riding to the park with my bestie!

how did you train Petey to be so cooperative!?

My Henry goes bananas and yells anytime I try to put him in his basket.

Petey is a Maltese and I think this is just part of the breed. He loves baskets and bags. If you put a bag or purse on the ground he will try to jump in it. And I've seen other Maltese do the same. So when I pull his basket out of the closet he goes a little crazy and can't wait to get in and ride. He really seems to love it (as I do). So I have to get everything ready to ride before pulling out the basket or he'll just me too much of a handful while getting ready.

Petey loves cuddling. He'll just sit on your lap and hang at the coffee shop or wherever. I take him to the senior center and he just loves sitting on peoples laps and getting attention. He's also super soft (also part of the breed) so people love the way he feels.

As a side story, I was once riding with Petey to the park soon after a grooming session when he was looking perfect. As I can to a stop light a woman in the crosswalk kept staring at Petey and I. After crossing the street, she turned and walked up to me and just when she was a few feet away Petey stood up on the side of the basket and she let out a gasp! She said she was about to ask why I was riding with a stuffed animal in my basket. It was pretty funny and made our day.

Obviously, a Bianchi Pista. but I've swapped most parts out. A few items of note are the Nitto NJS stamped NJ-89 stem and B125AA bars.

Goddamit now I need to get a front rack. Still warming up to the idea of another dog. It'll happen, just takes time after having a great one.

Yes it is. I'm in Canada. The Canadian distributor brought 8 of them into the country. If you still want one I would contact them and see if they still have one or if they know a Canadian dealer that has one in stock. The lady to talk to is Leslie, ACS Distributing Inc. . So much fun to ride.

It says KHS USA on the chainstay protector

serious question:

i thought njs was all threaded headsets and quill stems. Is this something new?

either way, good looking bike.
