Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Purchased some new reflectors off Amazon as my old ones had mostly fallen off. These ones are stickers as opposed to little tubes that snap on the spokes.

Replaced stock Cane Creek Volos rear wheel with Cane Creek Sprint 50 carbon tubular. No change in weight and both wheels running tough street tubular tires. I previously had this wheel on my Leader 721tr, but changed it out on that bike with a generic carbon rim wheel.

Took my ugly bike out for a spin, felt good to get the legs going. Unfortunately I have 2 tattoo appointments in the next two weeks on my legs so I'll have to wait a bit longer to get back into it.

I do too, my body suit is almost done and I want it done. Even every two weeks takes a long time on a 6'4 man's leg.

If it doesn't rain you down for a ride on Saturday?

@Mumonkan
hmm, it looks like it is similar to how I heal mine. I use saran wrap the first night, and then possibly the second if its still oozing. I did my knee pit 2 weeks ago and it did not want to heal too well, too much flexing.

Finally pulled the landshark down out of the rafters and built it up. I haven't had a complete bike in over a year, and haven't ridden much since I left the shop a couple years ago to do other things with my life. Me and the GF are going down to savanah GA this weekend, bringing bikes to get around so I don't have to keep paying for parking.

-landshark track shark 56cm
-control tech/phenom
-omnoms/ceramic/welgos/*holdfasts being delivered today*
-fsa/whipperman/durachee
-cane creek/fsa 1"/steel mtb riser/eBay track grips
-gold coda 28h to gold open pro (from some c-dale road bike)/23c R2
-Paul/veep/DT 2.0/DT purple nurples/23c R2

I missed the mark by a year or two before prices went insane ~2009, then it was impossible to find a 66 at any cost. Almost ordered a Colossi or Pelizzoli but this was a purely emotional decision. I wanted the Cannondale.

Here they are built, waiting for bartape and plugs. Bad cellphone pics, I know. The GT is going into a local bike art show so I should have some great photos to share once I hook up with the curator/photographer.

Wow, gorgeous bikes!
