@AngryScientist
Looks awesome.
How do you get the rear wheel off with it so far against the rear drop out? Can you take the chain off with out taking it apart?

Well, it can also be removed by removing the chainring w/o breaking the chain, but it's really kinda silly to slam the wheel just for looks when you've got nice long dropouts. Ah, the price of internet cred !

internet cred? do you know me?

i've still got a few mm's play, and chain removal is a non-issue. the cog on there is the largest one i will run, but plan on running a few sizes smaller as well, which i've tested to all work great with the chain length i've got there.

the post above really bothers me, baseless presumptions are what's really silly.

+1

Who pissed in your Corn Flakes this morning, TT?

The tire on Angie's Vig is even closer to the seat tube and she still has plenty of room in the dropouts to remove the wheel without breaking the chain or removing her chainring.

Yup, hence the single bottle. It contains a mini pump and a can of Vittoria Pitstop). It's just 20 km twice a day and I wanted a low maintenace commuter with a custom build frame. A few weeks ago I replaced the wheelset to the ones you see in this pic together with the brake pads but apart from that all it needs is a shower once an week and some oil on the chain afterwards.

Here's a pic of the bike with the previous wheelset. I will use the old Super Record hubs to build a new set of wheels with the same type of silver colored Campagnolo rims I used for the new set. That way the rims will look good much longer compared to the wear on the old anodized Mavic rims.

I want to like it, it has that Rivendell funk to it, but those red cranks and pedals have to go.

I tried to send a PM but the system won't allow it because my post count it too low.

Two questions.

Are the frame and fork completely straight?
What size is it?
