Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Why stop at a wood grain wheel? For the low price of 125 euro, you can have a wooden riser bar!

Nothing jackass about wooden bars. They have an alloy spine so they're strong enough but they look and feel great on the right bike.

Couldn't upload the picture here for some reason, sorry for the extra click.
I looked pretty close, looks like there's a lock ring, so guessing it's fixed.

I do have to say running a no brake/no pedal strap combo is pretty jackass.

I didn't have a camera, but the other night I saw a nice bike with only the front wheel locked, and that wheel had a quick-release skewer.

That one is OK, he's not deceptive in the ad and is charging a fair price. Even knows its chromoly.

That's really neat. I wonder if it works. And yes, even if it does, it belongs here.

My son's gf plays Quiddich in a local league - young adults running around playing a ground based version of the game from the book while carrying brooms that serve no purpose other than to get in the way. In some ways, it makes more sense than his passion for soccer.

True, but the seat and bar angle still qualify as jackass.
