Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

^^^I'm thinking that may be genius, not jackass

Anyway, came here meaning to post this in the "Seen on the street" thread - I do actually run into this guy too often since we frequent some of the same areas, so...look back a bit in this thread and see if you recognize some of his other work and tell me if I picked the right place for this beauty?

You want Jackass you sonsofbishes? You got it!

RARE 1984 Huffy Team USA racing bicycle. & extras!!

Text in the ad; I will highlight the parts I enjoyed...

"Hey, I have an old made in the USA and all original 1984ish HUFFY team USA Olympia (TT) or racing 10 speed bicycle, it's pretty rare, it has some cool design handle bars, 24 inch front tire and 26 inch rear, frame has an aero design & comes with 80s shimano components as well, it will fit someone between 5 1/2 ft and 6 feet tall, the rear disc is cracked so I took it off & still have it, and it's paint is rough but with some tlc this could be a cool fixie or race bike or ? It has just been pro. tuned up!! Please know that this is a retail store copy bike and not a true team bicycle! I will also through in these extra parts, shim amp spd pedals they are scratched on the ends from a tip over but i never used the clip in feature, also a pair of soma pedal toe clips that were never used with yellow rubber straps that are a bit dirty from sitting on the shelf for I'd say about 4 years and last is a used sugino crank set with 3 rings and a bottom bracket! Any questions email me or call me! No shipping, No paypal, No trades, cash only!! 1175.00... Obo"
