theyre back together! I saw there first show in yearssssss last summer, and they just played yesterday. Both in there home city of toronto

a pretty strange melody (and even stranger chord progression) from one of my all time fav albums:


my buddies and I have started fooling around with this one, no one has any idea WTF to play during their solos.

I just kinda keep my left hand rolling through the chord progression, and hit (seeminly) random notes with my right hand. Like alot of monk tunes, there are chromatic elements to the progression, so i'm always a half note away from something that sounds right. If it sounds weird, just walk up or down one step at a time lol
