Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i'm in berkeley, and i don't have work on tuesdays and wednesdays (for now), i'm down for a road ride most of the time, and a fixed ride some of the time (reason being that i commute and ride my track bikes for commuting and anytime i need to get from point A to point B, and if i'm riding strictly for fun, i like to ride my roadie).

drop a PM my way if you wanna hang out.

Whats up? I'm fairly new to CA too, and I'm down to do some explorin'/riding.

I'm not fast, but if you want to ride or whatever...send me a PM.

Get down to Hellyer for one of the practice sessions on saturday mornings. Info here:
http://www.stanford.edu/~roadman/Bik...VA/index.shtml

SF Critical Mass is last friday of the month, 6pm at Pee Wee Herman plaza (offically known as Justin Herman Plaza effectively Market @ Embarcadero).

Other CMass info here:
http://criticalmassrides.info/

Plenty of rides get organized on these boards so just keep checking in.

Make sure to head out to the Sea Otter classic in April, since you're in the neighborhood.
