I think bikesdirect is giving me some bad advice (or i'm overthinking)
So i've been reading many many thread, searching and going over everything to make sure i fit myself properly (yes i read the sticky, i understand and i know I'm violating the sticky). So after looking at bikes and my price range i settled on the motobecane Track. Horray. I figure i either fit a 49 or a 52. The geometry chart's top tube measurements read: 49cm: 515mm. 52cm: 540mm.
Now after doing sizing measurements i get this:
The Eddy Fit (cm)
-------------------------------------------
Seat tube range c-c: 48.9 - 49.4
Seat tube range c-t: 50.4 - 50.9
Top tube length: 51.8 - 52.2
Stem Length: 9.1 - 9.7
BB-Saddle Position: 63.9 - 65.9
Saddle-Handlebar: 49.1 - 49.7
Saddle Setback: 3.5 - 3.9
But i figured i would e-mail bikesdirect directly and ask just to double check. I provided this info and they told me to go with a 52cm.. Now looking at the measurements it seems if i went with a 52cm the top tube would be 2.2cm to 1.8cm high. I would think a 49cm would be more comfortable.
Now am i, as bikesdirect told me, "over-thinking" this? or not?

That's a HUGE jump in TT length on that bike, interesting.
I'd probably do the 49cm

I'd go with the sizing recomendations here.
The one thing that leaped out at me is the bike comes with 46/15 gearing. That might be quite tall at 81.6 inches, it depends on you. You might consider ordering something like a 18T cog to have on hand with your new bike.

Concur. And the stock cog and lockring will be loose to begin with, and meh quality, so just go ahead and order a bigger cog and nice lockring.

Thanks so much guys! that's very helpful. It always pays to look at the specs carefully. And i did make one blunder as to the motobecane. I'm going to ride freewheel for a while and for some reason i thought it came with a free wheel. It doesn't (also only one break). So that's probably $20-25 for a shimano freewheel, plus another brake $30-40, and new pedals $25. So after getting everything good it's around $350. So for the same price (after new pedals) i could get the Windsor Clockwork Plus (https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...kwork_plus.htm) for the same price, since it comes with two brakes and a freewheel already.
So pretty much same sizing on that, so 49cm.

It's just annoying now, realizing all the components i'll need to make the motobecane freewheel ready. Good thing i have an old roadbike that's a bit to big for me back home i can take brakes and levers from.
So, now just to get a Freewheel and some pedals to start.

Ok so the bikes been ordered and so has most of the parts (should have recieved the bike on friday, but UPS blows and is causing me problems). Now i'm thinking about running bullhorn handlebars (origin 8). But i don't know where i feel comfortable putting the breaks. From my understand you can run TT levers at the top and cross brakes at the bottom? But this would just make you look stupid? I would think it would be good to have brakes levers in both location as to not have to fumble around in "OH SNAP!" situations.
Ideas?

I kinda think that would make the problem worse. You'll develop muscle memory and instinctively reach for the lever when you need to stop. If there are two levers for each hand, your brain gets confused and your hands don't know where to go.
