Is this bike worth 275 dollars?

Is this bike worth 275 dollars?

I'm looking to buy a bike for commuting to class and exploring the college town. I honestly don't know much about bikes, but have been searching craigslist in hopes of finding something. I came across this ss bike and was wondering if it's a good deal or overpriced? Link:https://blacksburg.craigslist.org/bik/3709508952.html

Any advice is greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Carlo

not even close. I bought one of those for $75 and it was nothing but a hassle.

I think you can get one of those sweet decal-less bikes on bikesdirect for like $270 brand new. do that instead

edit: however, that is a pretty sweet feather painted on the front... worth now elevated to $76

$300 is what this bike is priced at. Poster want's $25 extra to throw in the seat.

I'd pass.

My budget is 300$, I know that's not much...college student budget. I'm looking to get a single speed road bike so any recommendations on a good bike for that price I could buy online or should I just go to my local bike shop and talk to them
