I'm probably just really thick, but... (Question about clips and straps setup)
Okay, I've never ran clips and straps before, but for my new bike I bought these . I just received them and for the life of me I can't figure out how to put the straps on right. I know it should be simple, but I feel like I'm just missing something. I assume they're supposed to go through the holes right next to the axle, but they don't seem to fit. I could possibly force them, but it would take a lot of force to make them go through the holes (and it will tear up the leather). Got any tips to how these things are supposed to work?

Yep, force 'em. And give them a full twist before they exit the threaded sided of the pedal. This will keep the strap from moving when you try to tighten or loosen them.

they'll fit, but it does take some work.
a pair of pliers (needlenose if you got 'em) will make the job easier.
the leather shouldn't tear, it should bend to fit the holes.
