backwards fork, fr brake cable rubbing on tire, awesome bar/lever position...(i squeezed both brake levers and they went all the way into the grips and the pads didn't even grip the rotor)..
all for only $300!!

I was reading this thread a few days ago, and it inspired me to snap a couple of photos of some bikes I get to admire every morning when I get to school. Crazy part is that nlovett72 has actually beat me to the punch and posted what looks to be the same bike (at least one of them). Not just the same kind of bike, or same configuration. No, the exact same bike! What are the chances?
I hope the guy who owns that bike is a member of this forum and finds this page one day.
BTW: thats my multi-speed red super course in the background. I am breaking so many rules right now...

Ha, yeah, probably good advice. Its, umm, "original". When i first fixed up the bike I had it off, but put it back on in fear of not adjusting the back derailleur correctly, and shredding up my spokes. However, I have been riding it for over a month without a problem, so I guess I shouldn't worry about it. I might take it off the next time a do a cleaning.

There's always such a beautiful bianchi locked up at the SW corner of state and lake. I haven't specifically looked for it in a bit, but I will once again. I used to make sure if I was in the area to route wherever I going to make sure I rode or walked past it. Look for it when you get a chance cream, it's white with lettering but I can't think of the wheels it has on it.

That's awesome... And you go to Harold Washington cream? Sweet I'll have to stop by on my way to school and look for that fixie and your bike. Maybe leave you a little note or something haha. I'm in the whole CCC system too, my classes this summer are just at kennedy king.
BTW: you need to get up pretty early to catch those two that I have in the photo. Notice the overall lack of bikes on the racks, this is not common, its just that it was about 8:20am at the time, ugh. Mine is easy to catch though, I am pretty much there all day unless I take the bike somewhere for lunch.

Nothing. I bought a used one from the co-op and I found it to be a useless eyesore. Uncomfortably flexy too.

Im 90% sure the UCI outlawed them for one reason or another. I really wish I could remember the conversation I had about them.
