I have friends that lived in Davis before going to school at the UC. They say it's just like a continuation of high school.

Today I bought the last of the parts I need to get my truck 100%, I got a lot of looks carrying a truck grille while biking home but come monday, I should be 100% road legal.

This is true. Even if you grew up in Manhattan and got into Columbia you ought to go someplace else. Portland to Davis seems like close to the ideal distance for college. You can drive it but you aren't going to take your laundry home for your mom to do every weekend.

I enjoyed half of my college experience, but the one thing I never liked was that I went to a "commuter" school, where (mostly) everyone went home on the weekends.

While I went to cal, a good 85% of my high school UC admitted class went there. So yeah pretty much^, thankfully there was a free bus shuttle to there and from (does it still exist? or has it been axed by the regents to fatten up their personal paychecks?).

Are you saying from Davis to Berkeley? I haven't heard of that, but I wouldn't really know.

I'm done with specialized armadillos, only had this tire for like three? Months. Been wanting to go to 32 s anyways.

I also almost never skid.

First rain ride of the year! Although it was only my commute the rain was still enough to soak me. And now it is all sunny

Today I'm jealous of places that actually have weather. Coincidentally I bought my plane tickets for a trip back to Philly in January.
