+1, i used to love driving, but driving anywhere when i have to be there at a specific time combined with anyone else driving around me causes rage every time

its at the point now that i kinda have no use for it other than seeing my friend in delaware and making trips to the grocery store easier

my ride to and from work makes me a much more balanced individual

I will take some more comprehensive ones later. It's about 1/4mi long and some parts are really steep. A good way to get my feet wet .

today I went for a ride despite the 30 mph winds. I hitch hiked home after I couldn't pedal into the wind any more and was blown off the trails 4 times.

Today I went for a ride in the mountains, spent more time in the granny gear than I have for a long time. The perils of getting old.

Now I am waiting for the bread my wife and daughter are baking to come out of the oven. The smell is killing me.

Today I thought I had outdid the wife. I bought her a big purse with some money I earned on the side that she didn't know about. She got me a iPad mini w/retina 64gb, maybe next year I will finally outdo her.

Merry Christmas/Happy holidays to you SSFG

Angie & I didn't really do gifts this year because of all the money we just spent moving across the country but I got up early this morning to prepare our traditional Xmas breakfast of huevos rancheros, chorizo and grilled stuffed habanero peppers. Now we're about to get on our bikes and ride out to Pacific Beach and La Jolla.

Happy holidays everyone!

Ended up burning an Amazon gift card on guitar stuff Xmas night. Got a mini amp, AC adapter for it, cable, strap and a microphone for cost of shipping. I guess it was kind of a holiday after all.

Today I'm thinking about selling my fixay and turning my road bike into a SS townie. Probably gonna do part B of that equation either way.

Received a blu ray player for Christmas so today I rode my bike to FYE and got all of these for a pretty good deal.

Then rode to New Earth and got these.

Today I decided to make my saddle black. I had a can of Leather Luster and went to work, 2 coats later and it's done and drying. I used to use it to make my black leather boots shine like patented leather but we have switched to sage colored boots. I am pleased with the outcome, even though the neon green made finding my bike at a distance quite easy, this should match a little better
