weird story

guy struck up a conversation with me on bart about my saddle (caad10). Told him it was a carbon knock off of a spec toupe. he said he thought so and that it was his favorite saddle. Hey, same here. We started talking about his BB30 creak, he has a caad10 too. I try and look up the part number for the angular contact bearings that I use but cant find it. We get to west oakland and hella people get off so seats open up, he sits and puts his bag down, we both have MW's. We both note the similarities and he jokingly asks what kind of squirl I have, I laughingly reply "asian." he starts to laugh harder, him too. I ask for his number as we get closer to his stop to text him the part number once I look it up, he starts to rattle off his phone number as I stop him after the sixth digit cause its exactly mine.

glitch in the matrix man.

Today I built up a new set of wheels for the new bike. Novatec hubs, DT Swiss Aero spokes, Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite rims, standard 32h 3x. Pretty much the cheapest wheels I could put together with those specific rims and track hubs. $69 for hubs, $51 for spokes, $5 nipples, $61 rims = $186.

My blinky flew off when I hit a bump. I heard it hit the ground, so I turned around to grab it. I guess the car behind me ran over it, because this is all I could find.

Today some dip**** taxi tried to hook me real ****ing good. Three lane road, left turning lane, straight lane, and a right turn lane, all separated by solid whites. Dumb**** proceeds to make a left hand turn from the rightmost lane, speeding up to beat the yellow. His path went right through me and I couldn't find a line fast enough so I just layed it down. Lost some knuckle skin and my ankle is banged up. The bike is whatever. Don't even care anymore.

**** SF.

Walked a mile home bare footed (only had cycling shoes) on burning hot chip and tar roads before some kind old man driving by asked if i was training for a triathlon or wanted a ride. I'm still not sure what I hit in the road, but it sounded like I ran over a shopping cart.
destroyed my tire

scratched the frame pretty decent too

You might want to never write that sort of thing again on the internet, because...

Your future father-in-law will block your proposal or withhold/injunct Buffy's trust fund, or

A very good potential employer will decide that your resume goes into the "never contact" file, or

The government will use your own words to discredit your character in an unrelated criminal action...

The list of reasons why is a long one, indeed.

seems like the difference between people that do drugs and people that don't do drugs is...people that don't do drugs don't talk about not doing drugs.

We held that very discussion in front of my English class a few years ago. About how many people actually drink/drugs because the small percent that do often make quite the sound to be heard cause, y'know I'm cool, remember? That's not the point I know, just memories. And I'm not trying to sway either way but ..it has been a while
