Well for some of my friends it is. I know a lot of vegans who shoot. Nothing more fun than punching holes in paper with some hot lead!

The only living beings I would ever shoot are humans and only if my life or friends and families lives are in danger. Shooting humans is fair because they have the same ability to shoot back and defend themselves.

I have shot watermelons and soda before, and would do it again But I think metal is my favorite, that nice plink when the bullet hits is always a good sound.

Better be attentive while loading garands to avoid having your thumb bit if there isnt a thumb saver installed.

Winter evening.

Make a barrel full of water balloons and set it outside overnight.

Morning. Hang frozen ballons from wood rack/sawhorse.

Shoot balloons.

Sounds good.

That does sound fun. Too bad I don't have land to shoot on and the ranges around me don't allow anything but paper.

The Garand is cool but I am just as happy with the M14 it works just as well in a somewhat similar package without the finger pain.

Oh yes.

There was one time when I was at the range shooting both the M14 and someone's Jungle Carbine (SMLE mark 5, real) and my shoulder was done but I went back the next day and shot again. I think we have better sorted out the stock pads to be a little more comfortable and I probably won't be shooting the Mark 5 again at least not at the same time. That *** was not meant to be so damn light.

Yes you do. But also a foam roller works wonders. That in conjunction with a proper mattress will change your life.

Hmm have you checked if your mattress is sagging?
Have you tried any over the counter pain killers to ride you over until then?
I heard there's a way to alleviate the pain by sleeping with a pillow or two in between or under your legs too depending on the position you usually sleep.

Are either of yer legs or feet numb or tingly? Look up the periformis muscle/trouble. It's in yer butt cheek, one on both sides. It's crossed by sciatic nerve, so it makes it feel like it's yer lower back. Not to sound cheeky, but if you can find it, and rub it, you will definitely know whether it's the culprit. Once you find it, "rub it out" until it relaxes. Like I said, you'll definitely know when you find it, it's kinda hard to find. There are numerous stretches for it too.

I aint a fan of pill popping either. Always wanted to tough it out like a real man, myself. But, a few years ago I learned a very real lesson about pain and it's deceleration of the healing process. If you take enough pain killers to be pain free, it speeds the healing process ten fold. When you are all tight like that, your body is preventing itself from healing.

I had a repeat injury that took me four months to get over the first time, drug free. The second time, with pain killers, I felt better in a few days and was off the pills at the end of the week. Still delicate, but pain free, mobile, and getting stronger daily.

After sugery or trauma, doctors preach big time, "Stay ahead of the pain".
