Tonight I'm going to see some professional wrestling and I'm so excited. Couldn't afford tickets to Monday's RAW here in Chicago so this is a good and much cheaper compromise. Found out about it because a friend's boyfriend is a manager for this league.

LOL! I guess you're right about them not being professionals, more like hobbyists... I'm new to this brand of entertainment so wasn't sure what to call the, uh, minor leagues? Whatevs, it's fun and I'm currently so obsessed with WWE it's ridiculous.

While sitting at work just now I remembered when I was a youngster on my first bike, with a coaster brake. Went riding down a hill and the chain came off, crashed into a dumpster.

Nice.

Sure they're bulky and take up a lot of space, (depending on the situation) expensive to buy, who's functions can easily be emulated from the convience of your computer, and use up a lot of electricity if left on for convenience/ as they do in arcades.

But I'll take a cabinet any day as an 80's kid.

Today I trained some Muay Thai and switched things up and went for a run instead of a bike ride. Running in the winter feels so good.

Today I am going to buy a new recumbent. My LBS made me a deal on an NOS bike that I just can't refuse.

So what you mean is that you've finally given up hope on ever being cool?

Just kiddin with ya. My older brother lives in Cherryville by the way, off Old Post Rd. Some good riding roads out there.

Ha ha Well too late, this isn't my first recumbent.

I know Cherryville is small, but that is still surprising, my house is a couple hundred yards from Old Post Rd.
Yes, there are some great roads out here, I am very lucky. If you are ever out this way, maybe we can go for a ride, I promise not to embarrass you with a recumbent.

Hah, challenge accepted! I may be in the area around August when I go back home for a friend's wedding. It really is a small world.

That would be great, we can ride out to Lincolnton and get a cup at Fausto (Coppi) Coffee. I know a few back roads with some great rollers, perfect terrain for fixed gear bikes.
