Daft me, I didn't realize it was a real bottle cap. I think I have actually tried that ale because there is an empty bottle at the house. Of course my memory about empty bottles is usually suspect at best.

Today I got a call from the LBS to that my bike was all set for pick up( just getting the steer tube cut). I go to pick it up and it hadn't been cut. :|

Dude, I'm pretty sure I've been in every bike shop from Newburyport into the city and I'm not impressed. It's seeming more and more reasonable to fly to SD to have you work on my stuff.

Today I took pictures to hopefully sell my ex's janky SS conversion of a 90s era specialized allez sport. hoping the nice condition frame and like-new gatorskin tires mean i'll get a decent price for it. He refused to take it and said I could do whatever I wanted with it.

That's pretty much what I'd be doing with it too, if I was in a similar situation.

why would you drop your whole bike off just to have the steer tube cut?
save yourself some money and remove the fork and mark it.

I called ahead, walked into the LBS, the guy cut and filed it and handed it back to me 4-5 minutes later.

I think it's about a 53. Pics including measuring tape here if you're curious, but shipping isn't in the cards. I move Thursday and my goal is to get rid of it this weekend. Already have a friend coming to check it out tonight.

Fell in the cable car tracks going about 18mph, that'll knock the ****ing mucus out of your chest.

Landed on my feet, no clue how. Welp, ten hour shift time.

My painter surprised me by painting my frame/fork last night, I thought he wasn't going to get to it till next week. Now I get to work on bikes this weekend.

Nice save. Those are the worst because you get no time to react before you're down.

Try hitting black ice, at least you can see the cable car tracks.
