Chapeau!! Sounds like an incredible experience.

Today was the first time in my life I ever raced a bicycle. I didn't get last and I didn't crash, so overall it was a win. I mostly just hung back and just watched things play out, next week I'll try to get podium.

I had a job interview at a new place doing something I'll love; and I quit my job.

If I was younger, I'd say I was stoked or something along those lines.

Fun. I have free time to make it out to the 6th and 7th stages. I might just do the 7th because I can ride/transit to the course.

Today I learned that if you listen to "Sweet Child O' Mine" as soon as you wake up, it's basically impossible to have a bad day.

I got really angry at cheap crappy bike stuff we have more than enough of and broke down some boxes and then biked home to some reggae, ska and Black Sabbath.

Went out to the start of the Amgen TOC stage today with @Jaytron. First time at a pro race. Pretty sweet. It was pretty hot out tho (95-100 deg)

Today I came to terms with the fact that hot weather is just not my jam. I'd rather it was 70 and cloudy, than this bull**** 90 degrees of sweat and scorching sunburn during a simple 25 minute walk to get lunch. I seriously have loved SF for the last 8 years, but a move back to Portland may be in order sooner rather than later, and I'm finally completely OK with that.

That's pretty much "freak" weather for the Bay area though, right?

Scrod hasn't been through a Santa Ana yet. Have you even got to "June Gloom" yet?

edit: not that I disagree, though.
