did 75 miles with two of my friends who cheat and use gears. I've been anemic so I'm doping on B12. It may be working.

Right on. What could be better than an MX bike with slicks???? Only one thing. If it had a 500cc TWO-STROKE engine. ))))))

Today I woke up before the sun rose and put down some satisfying climbing miles.
Getting up early was worth it as now my rx7 project lives and runs on its own power!
Lightyears from being presentable though. Also, I'm a bit heartbroken it's no longer a rotary.

110 miles in the Santa Monica Mountains today. 30 miles of dirt and the rest along the PCH and various canyons. ~9000ft climbing. The Straggler is now properly broken in and I'm in pain (almost bonked/dehydrated out in the middle of no where)

Rode some more bike and poked around the project car some more. Dumped some more money into it.

today I realized that my upper limit for enjoying a bike ride is somewhere around 85 degrees.
Gonna be 92 and humid today, so sick of riding in this weather.

I've been reminding myself how much more I enjoy 90 and humid when compared to the past winter here of 19 with below 0 wind chills.

oh man. thats on the far other extreme.
I'm missing my 30 degree mornings where I wear a coat and some gloves, and can unzip a few miles into my ride. There is still some discomfort but I don't have to deal with the dizziness, dehydration, etc after an hour of riding. I have a hard time in the heat between a messenger bag and a full beard.

Bonked so hard yesterday I lost my vision for a bit still had like five miles to go. Last time I try to do a big race without eating a huge breakfast.
