What are the wilted greens on the one on the left? Is that Arugula? Both look really, really good!

Well last night I got my first bike, a fixed-gear, assembled and went out to test it. Extremely fun and liberating haha

I didn't feel a new thread would warrant this question so I'll ask here

How long or hard is it going to be learn to brake efficiently? My bike came without any brakes but I will be ordering a pair of front brakes before I start commuting, if there's any recommendations on some cheap brakes they're welcome.

Good to be here!

Yup, Arugula - perhaps my favorite leafy green.

Learning to ride brakeless takes a bit of time and practice. I would suggest you get that front brake and have that installed while you learn. It's just nice to have when you need to stop but can't. I would not ride brakeless until you have spent many months riding with a brake and notice that it isn't being used.

Ok the pizza bike actually made me laugh.

Today I finished my last day of work at my internship in Germany. I am so excited to come home on Monday. I've been away from my wife since the end of may. I feel like dancing right now.

+1

I rode for a few months and got comfortable, then I kept my brake on and started trying to ride without using it, but it was there for emergencies.
Then my next bike came with no brakes, and I made it work.

You are killing me.

My cousin makes a variation partially using pastry flour and it makes a really lofty and delicate crust. Tastey.

They would've been had I not been cooking for 2 other people who wouldn't think it's a "pizza" w/o cheese. Both wheels had a sprinkle of asiago/parmesan/provolone/romano blend. Both also had TJ's Organic Tomato Basil Marinara, minced organic garlic, organic onions and drizzled w/ evoo. The front wheel had squares of organic baked tofu from Trader Joes & organic broccoli, and the back wheel had organic arugula as previously mentioned.
Had I not run out of amaranth flour, I probably wouldn't have used the AP flour, although the crust came out quite yummy.

I love how your pizzas are being referred to as "wheels" now. Also... Your recipe sounds quite good. If you're ever in the Charleston, SC area, be sure and stop off at Monza on King Street (downtown in the historic district). They have wonderful brick oven pizzas prepared using locally-sourced, organic ingredients (whenever possible) and they're really delicious. They also have one of the best Beet salads I've ever had, also with locally-sourced beets.

It's... UnBEETable.
