Tossed a 100mm stem on the leader and so much nicer, can't wait for track season to start again. Finally think I have my fit dialed in. Passed my roommate on the way into work cause he had a flat, saw him standing on the side of the road and I just yelled sucker and kept going. True friendship.

Today I bought a complete Soma Rush for $400. Spent the evening taking off decals, re-wrapping the bars only to realize I only had a few small pieces and put my SPD's from my road bike onto it. It has Sram cranks on it though, and as far as I've read they generally came with Sugino's. With that being said, was it only for one year that Soma sold the Rush as a complete bike?

Today I got to play with people's expensive bikes. Too bad they're clueless about which expensive parts they could not buy...

Went on a MTB ride with Nagrom, goddamn that **** is fun. I was on a 30 lbs trek rigid mtb, and I had an absolute blast.

Today I was showing my lady around my home town we suddenly we stumbled into a CX race where an old friend from highschool was racing. That was pretty cool.

This morning I woke up in Bismarck, North Dakota... will be sleeping in my own bed tonight after a little 1350 km drive through some of the flattest countryside on earth.
Compared to Saskatchewan, ND is downright mountainous... those little prairie towns are 10-16 km apart and as soon as you leave one, you can see the next one on the horizon.

Inadvertently went on a 12 hour hike yesterday and got caught in the dark. My legs, they hurt.

Today I learned an expensive lesson about carrying fragile items unsecured in a shallow front bicycle basket. I was returning home from a trip from the grocery store on my Windsor Clockwork townie with its Wald 4.75" deep front basket, when I hit a bump and a $5+ glass jar of bean dip was jetisoned onto the pavement with predictable results.

Finished building my MTB. I can't wait to take it out and actually try riding this thing.
