Or how about leaving the key in the lock? Done that. (My lock will not engage unless you insert the key first. A good idea, so that you don't lock the bike first, then discover you don't have the key with you. But I think you're supposed to take the key with you when you walk away from the "locked" bike)

Thankfully haven't done that, as muscle memory puts my keys back on my belt loop every time I use them.

Why? Haven't you been riding them for like a year already? If you're only saying that because you did a fit calculator or something I'd say screw it, as long as they're comfortable to ride you should be good to go!

I haven't been comfortable though. I've always thought something was off, but I just thought I was out of shape.

I do have two framesets though, so selling both of them, and getting another caad or something comparable doesn't seem too hard.

Today I got some cogs, a stem, and some handlebars. Saved $40 bucks with a black Friday deal. Resetting the bike tomorrow.

Benched my body weight today for 2 sets of 3. Squatted my body weight for 3 sets of 3. Happy to have reached that benchmark.

I guess I have a seized/cross threaded cog on my budget wheelset. I couldn't get it off with a chain whip or the rotafix method, LBS broke a chain whip and still couldn't get it off. 17t fo life I guess.

I once watched a guy lock up his bike and I had to inform him that he hadn't actually locked the bike to the rack.

I got the lesser saphenous vein removed from my left leg with a laser. This is the last one of 4. I am glad to be done with it. Now all I have to do is wear this stupid stocking for 2 weeks and keep my hear rate below 125 or so while I ride. Just as well as my fixie is at the powder coaters.

Ride safe,

Joe

After a week of interviewing and discussion, today I received an official job offer to wrench in Alaska next summer. I'll sign the contract after the holidays. So stoked! Guess I won't be finishing school any time soon.
