Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Get #2 !!!! I like pretty much all knives but I try to collect friction folders. I'll look through CRKT's stuff though.

The CRKT Ken Onion Shenanigan is my favorite and is very big among my co-workers.

As far as what I did I installed some Duraace brakes on my fixed gear commuter and rode home in a nice cold foggy mist. I got to try out some nice Pearl Izumi bib tights I got last summer super cheap at Marshalls. Verdict, ****ing not bad for the price though I am not a bib convert quite yet.

Put in a dirty thirty on the cross bike after work, luckily it was dry during the ride and started raining as I hit the home block.

Santa came through with my Giro Air Attack w/Shield and I went for a 27 mile ride on the Matt Bike. The helmet worked great. I can't wait to ride into strong sun or ride down a big hill when it is in the teens. The only down side is I look a little bad-a** in the helmet when the shield is down.

Merry Christmas to all!

Joe

Worked 8 hours, got paid double time and a half, and rode my bike to work all while not freezing my butt off in Michigan. Oh, and we had a decent free turkey/ham dinner with all of the extras. Not too bad for hospital food.

Pretty sure I read on his site somewhere that he and a couple friends just took over a shop that was going out of business. Pretty cool, though! Also explains why he doesn't really post on here much anymore.

Anthony Green at the Gramercy Theatre. Aside from some annoying ******y people in the audience it was a great show.

I went to the shooting range with some friends and friends of friends : ) Brought one of the Glocks and the M1 Carbine didn't bother pulling out the Glock because I was having to much fun with the M1. Wish I could have done a ride today as well but things started early and ended in the late afternoon and I was wiped.

That doesn't sound like the usual vegan activities.
