Rode to the beach with the Sqrl, had a small picnic on the sand, and rode home, played Mario 64. Quite enjoyable

Seems like there was an American badged Isuzu Pup too. Maybe Dodge was with Isuzu before Mitsu?

frame has a dent in the seat stay, so its resale value is already shot. Not to mention I only got the murdered out CAAD because 98% of cannonadle's color ways are horrific.

Doesn't matter where he's from, i'm sure he knows the area now that he lives here and works in that area every day.

Anyways, the Denny's is like 1 small block away from the shop.

Actually, it DOES matter where he's from, if he wasn't there during the time period(early 80's to early 90's) of the venues I'm talking about. Know what i mean?

Gotcha, thought you were just referring to the area in general.

I don't know what venue you are talking about. But then again I grew up in Spring Valley and was never around that area until I went to College. I lived on El Cajon Blvd (the ECB as I call it), but not so far down. I lived by 56th street.

The Skeleton Club was one, and then there was one called Kings Road Cafe, and the Pink Panther. I can't remember exactly where in SD they were, but i know we always ended up at Denny's on El Cajon, after shows. Kinda like Oki Dog in LA.

Never been to El Cajon, but visiting Retrogression is on my bucket list. I am going to show up with beer and donuts, just to create confusion .

I found out I didn't get the job in San Diego (salary didn't line up). Its bitter sweet, I am happy to still be in NY (employed) but I would have liked to have tried West Coast living. @Scrodzilla sorry homie, you'll have to find a new best friend. @Mumonkan you're stuck with me.

You know I applied for a job earlier this year in San Diego and I got four different phone interviews and they strung me along for five weeks before they turned me down. Fortunately I found something here that I wanted more but maybe hirers in SD feel like this is what they are supposed to do to out-of-towners because of the job market.

Just start your own company like I did, and then you won't have to deal with stupid interviews.
