The red label has a better texture imo if you like bits of cookie still in mix.
What is the base of that stuff? Dairy? Nuts?

It's essentially gingerbread cookies pureed in oil.

The tire tread was holding up pretty well but the sidewall was what failed; it's a shame it failed this early. I guess there was a defect in the casing and the pressure eventually found its way to it.
Thankfully it didn't fail catastrophically and leave me walking back or calling for a bail out from my sqrl who actually was the one who pointed it out on my bike as she was wiping hers down. I would've kept riding it otherwise.

It's a slightly different taste imo, the cookie butter lacks the hard to describe citrus like undertone "tang" of the real cookie if you think about it. An easy way to compare is to not buy the cookies while finishing the cookie butter, then buying the cookies.

You say it's delicious, so, I believe you. But man, that description does not sound good. It's Trader Joes though, and I've never had anything from them that wasn't tastey.

Today I...feel fat! I hate snow. Ny snow that is. It needs to go away so I can start riding more often. I also finished getting everything for my bb17, cant wait to put it together!
Thanks for the link, that is odd.
I had a matte black pre cursa I bought pre built a few years ago and was happy with it so I wanted to build one up this time.
The paint looked thin in some areas, especially over the welds. There were pieces of metal under the paint which appears they didn't prep the bike well enough prior to painting. There were some good welds, and then there are some sloppy welds and some spurs on the welds under the paint that they didn't clean up prior to painting.

usually I wouldn't complain and send it back but that is unacceptable for a new item from a vendor. They were good to deal with and are setting up an exchange. They also were nice and sent me an extra headset because I requested an extra crown race for a spare fork I have (1 road with brake, 1 track no brake).

Snow sucks over here, I hate the cold too. I do not want to get on my trainer since I don't really enjoy stationary riding too much. it needs to get to 50 degrees for me to happy again.

Today I learned: IMINUSD is closing up their brick and mortar bike shop and converting to a online storefront.

I remember when there was a point scalpers were buying them all up and selling them on amazon @ a profit.

true it is not a genuine speculoos cookie, its its own thing, because its not just straight gingerbread either, i dont particularly like gingerbread cookies

still magnificent though, my day off today will be spent looking for the ice cream

i just put the spread on a stroopwaffel, omfg.

All of my Paselas died due to sidewall failure. I love how smooth and supple they are but I can't keep going through tires like that. I did ride them pretty hard but still disappointing. I guess supple comes with fragile.

Maybe. It's in the 80s today and the tires can't handle it

Today I woke up; no work! and it was actually sunny not cold either ~60F! I have been working in the garage for weeks and since it was so nice I decided to take off to the bike path. Grabbed my stuff, topped off the tires and packed up the bike on the rack. Drove all the way to my favorite trail head and got unpacked, stretched and got everything ready. I got on the bike only to realize the tire was flat.

I took an old cog from a cassette and a worn out tire and made a belt. I like the buckle a lot, but the belt I an luke warm about.

Ride Safe,

I wondered about that too, but the cog is too small (13T) to do any poking.

Today I noticed some knee pain while riding. I have been going easy of late and haven't changed anything on the bike in a long while - must have slept wrong last night.

I've found that a fifth of Jack fixes that and most other problems.
