Wow that sucks. But I must admit I kind of chuckled at that.
Still kicking.
Today I got more commute time in on the puch.

A sacrifice must be offered up to the rear cog gods so as not to lose the tip of one's finger. Karma baby.
Luckily they were cheap, so it was more of a haha moment at myself.

I replaced the cheapo rubber rim strips on my Cilo with some nice Conti HP strips and also did a little minor work on said bike. Found out the lower jockey wheel on the derailleur is worn and needs replacing.
Hopefully going to participate in a "race" this fall with a vintage team (though not L'Eroica strict) and need to get out and training on my purple swiss baby. She done got lonely in the winter.

today i put an old 32 pasela on the front of the trek and its only .5mm bigger than the 28 it replaced. newer ones must be bigger cuz the newer 32 on the back looks massive by comparison and still only measures 30mm

OCD is a real *****, isnt it? Does this mean you're going to swap the front tire with the rear now?

I put some 28s on my Bianchi that were almost identical in size to the 25's they replaced.

its annoying, not everyone is a weight weenie, some of us actually want a tire that is the size that companies sell them as.
the amount of things i pass just walking down the hall that set off my OCD is countless, so hard to control myself. almost did swap the tires to see if its the tire or the rim lol

That's pretty much typical for a high quality butted steel track bike. My 2011 49cm Soma Rush weighs 18.5 pounds with a front brake and two steel strap-on bottle cages and my vintage 1975 Schwinn Paramount P14 track bike weighs 17.4 pounds with tubular wheels and tires.
