Ride was awesome!

Got a bunch of clif gels and shot bloks. Rode went up into the Marin headlands and down a dirt trail. LeMond got a flat and I passed him in the dirt. He had 3 people helping him change a tube, which was pretty funny. I guess that's what you earn for being so good.

Went back to the mash shop and hung around for a bit, and swung out to Nagrom to pick some stuff up.

Now sitting on the train to go back to the south bay. Was a pretty sweet day.

Sounds like a great ride and a memorable experience. Cheers!

Today Charles swung by my shop.

Would have been on that ride, but my schedule just changed and today was the first Friday I have literally ever worked at my company.

Fml right?

Had a dope pb&j. Almond butter, apricot jelly, bacon, and goat cheese, all on olive bread. mmmmmmm

also finished my last classes. Which means I probably made it through a year (we'll see how my papers go, though, haha)!

Ate it hard yesterday going across a wooden bridge in the rain.
Shopping for a new helmet today.

Any suggestions for a decent roadie one under 100?
I'm looking at giro savant but can't find my size.

I just purchased a Giro Savant a few weeks back, and have been enjoying it so far.

At first I was like, "a pb&j with bacon?!" but this actually sounds really flippin' good.

I went mountain biking today for the first time in about six months and considered doing the same thing. I know I'll want to go again as soon as I sell it though. I totally suck at it tho.

I sold my mountain bike to fund my fatbike. I only ride off road in the winter, because the trails around here are riddled with poison ivy and it tears me up.

Took it easy after riding 48 miles last night and went through some bike stuff. Trash pile, sell pile which is small, and keep pile which is too damn big. Bought my first pair of "riding" glasses after putzing around with el cheapo sunglasses from Pac Sun. Tifosi Dolomite and a new jersey that I totally did not need, but wanted. Was almost two jerseys but the other showed off every Oreo that I have ever eaten in my life and it made me look round so I passed.

I think my next project is gonna be a steel cross bike of some sort. Riding dirt on road bikes is a blast, but some bigger tires would be cool. And I can put a rack on it too, which is something I've always wanted.
