There's a Ti frame on craigslist that looks so nice. I really want it.

It's my size, too. I was also tempted to look at that one. But I plan to use mine for a bit of light touring, so I really want rack mounts and to fit wider tires than that one.

This is the one I'm looking at this weekend: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/5026757219.html

The wheelset drives me crazy (disc hubs built up with caliper brake rims, srsly?) and I'm not really a fan of the blue accents, but it's my dream frame and the perfect groupset... we'll see if I can talk him down to something I'm comfortable with, given everything I want to change up.

Ride one and you'll understand why. My dad has one that I get to ride occasionally, an old Teledyne Titan, and it's unreal how comfortable it is on rough roads, but still more efficient than steel when hammering, and so light.

Just hang out at the ritziest LBS near you for awhile.
Preferably a colnago or wilier dealer. Your best bet is a cervelo dealer though.

For all the thespians in the audience (have a laugh or don't, no hate of Rapha they make some purdy shiz):

Rapha employee #1 : "ewwwww whats that?"
Rapha employee #2 : "looks like bike grease, yuck"
Regular biker: "yes I actually ride my bike"
Rapha employee #1 : "you what now?"
Regular biker: "ride my bike"
Rapha employee #1 : "Come again?"
Regular biker: "R-I-D-E MY B-I-K-E"
Rapha employee #2 : "but your clothes aren't from our boutique and your bike looks so cheap and dirty...huhwuhzuhkuhhhhhhwhh, I don't think I can talk to you"
Rapha employee #1 : "OMG I was on Strava like so hard last night"
Rapha employee #2 : "That site is tots the best, I am on it like all the time when I am preloading for my club ride on the weekends, I train so hard."

I'm always tempted to buy Rapha stuff for the name, but I can never pull the trigger...they're just black bibs and a plain jersey. Same for Assos.

Shouldn't have bought that CaadX. It's for basics
He was willing to take $800 a week ago, probably even less now. Don't tell him I told you

Hey, don't knock Black Tony. He just threw down some pretty serious scrilla for a custom Colossi.
