Yesterday I played bike polo for the first time. It was hella rad. Scored some goals, drank some beer, had a good time.

Yeah, now that I get a better look, it does have a different color. I do love that shade though/design.

Again....too bad my "Everything I spot/want always ends up costing the too much" strikes again.

I would if Messengers came with a 144bcd and a 42mm chainline. It's kind of hard to justify $150 cranks over my stock setup if they don't have those two basic additions.

Wish Sugino would just make a Messenger crankset in 144bcd/42mm chainline. I love the look/style of those cranks/chainring.

We have to admit...when buying more expensive cranks, it mainly comes down to BCD/chainline and aesthetics. Most of the higher end stuff is going to be good quality/overly built for the average person.

I've been perfectly happy with my basic Andel crankset, although I've only used FSA Pro rings on them, never used the one they came with.

Ooof. I cracked one like that once, had to ride 8 miles of singletrack with it spinning around on me, stood up most of the way home.

I took the head out, cleaned and sanded things, then a little JB Weld and a hose clamp and good as new. Well, the hose clamp is kinda ugly... Really should get a replacement someday.

They're there but I never see landsharks with a reasonable price. Always asking $1200 - $1500 with the groupsets they were born with.

Sure I want one but the price puts them pretty low on the priority list. And besides I live in Tesch country.

No, just jump off the GG bridge. That's pretty much why it's there.

Today I cleared 3000 miles for the year. I managed a weak 3120 last year, and am shooting for 5000 by midnight on December 31st or sooner. Between commuting and fun rides I think I should be able to do it. Not looking forward to the winter/snow/ice/frigid temp riding that is coming. Michigan. Kiss my a$$.
