Today I forgot that you can't coast on a fixed-gear bike. It ended well but wasn't the most pleasant experience I've ever had. Scared the shet out of me actually.

I think one doesn't ride a fixed gear bike as much as one cooperates with it.

Nice use of those former commute hours.

FTP test this morning. Was missing that extra "oomph" I needed to hit my goal, fell 4w short.

I did make a 20' pb though, if only by 1w

Better than the Mets. My wife's friend caught a foul ball WITH HER FACE at CitiField this past summer and didn't get more than a 'sorry, that's a bummer'.

Fell down the side of a trail today when I lost my line on some single track.

The sound of the trees creaking in the wind distracted the **** out of me. Sounded like doors opening in woods.

Today, I have been anxiously waiting upon the Wabi special delivery. . .

Anxious because, I hope to find out the Record pista crank and Record pista BB will fit/clear the chainstays.

Crosses fingers, bites nails, pulls hair, throwing dishes at walls. Am I forgetting any other abnormal tics?

... I feel so bad for you.

Today I built a bike rack to hang my two main bikes and my GF's bike in the apartment. It didn't go 100% as planned but works fine with a small modification. Feels good to clear space and make a bike corner. I don't know why I have been leaning my bikes for all these years.

Not bad at all, looks very practical.

Today I went from from the the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean (ok technically the Caribbean Sea) to have lunch with my wife and daughter. The drive took an hour each way.

It is less than 50 miles as the crow flies, I guess that why they built the canal here.

She should probably avoid hockey also.

Nosebleed basketball seats are usually safe.

Draw those curtains.

I used to hang my bike with the front near a window and the UV destroyed one of the rubber brake hoods and started to dry rot the front tire. I happened only on the side facing the window. It was a north facing window too, not even in direct sunlight. Will happen to the right side hood on that Srly faster than you think.

Did you make this? Pretty interesting.
