Fix your saddle and get some foot retention.

You can go as far as your legs are willing to go.

no disrespect but that looks EXTREMELY budget, like worse than a walmart "fixie"

I may be blind but I don't see any crank arms / pedals.

how far can you ride? well that depends on how good of shape you are in, if your USMC shape you'll be fine. But seriously, any bike could do any distance, its just a matter of how comfortable you are. Does the bike fit you properly? how does the saddle feel? tires hold adequate pressure for your weight? Are the breaks good enough for constant use?

Out of curiosity , how much did you pay for that?

going distance is directly correlated to your comfort and setup. I can easily do 50+ miles on a bike if I'm comfortable. If I use a bike (not my own) not set up properly then I will struggle, get frustrated, increase my chance of injury. Take it slow, see how you feel and slowly increase your distance while you gauge out your setup. As soon as you start to ride you'll realize what you need to upgrade.

good luck.

What's your budget like?

But without knowing your budget I'd go for some cheap Origin 8 Cranks and some 15 dollar pedals + single strap+ cage set up, so 80~ total

Does the bike fit your properly? Did you get sized for it? I wouldn't invest any money into something that doesnt fit you. Try to unload it and get something better instead of upgrading an already low quality bike. Reality hurts sometimes but its better than wasting money.
