Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Tour Da Chicago - Stage 3

I checked the website and it says "ODB Sunday School Race".

I think I'm just not up on the latest acronyms, 'cause the only thing I can come up with for "ODB" is the Wu-Tang reference.

Anyone got any info? Other than the stuff on the website.

It is Ye Olde Dirty Bastards - an elite group of messengers over thirty, headed by the notorious Brent Olde. I think they have a band too. Anyway the theme for this race is "Sunday School" and I've heard it will be a point to point race between schools, with a different challenge at each point.

Seattle is in town this weekend - we might head downtown to check out the race. Hopefully the manifest will be online sometime between now and then...or not.

Val mentioned she wanted to just hang out if there's no racing for some, which I'm down with. 165 - you want to meet up with me/us/whoever with Seattle? Pete mentioned the same - I went for a long ride with him during lunch yesterday.
