new frame advice
just found a crack in the chainstay on my original IRO group buy last night so it needs immediate retiring. i have considered a repair but on a 150 dollar frame that would probably not be cost effective.
i liked that bike but i feel like it's replacement should be more roadie oriented. it is my main commuter and i also like to take it for long road rides so i think a more roadbike like geometry would suit me a little better this go round.
any advice on what to look for? needs to be cheap. frame material not so important... thinking about trying to find a gently used sputnik or langster???
also i am 6'3" with a 34" inseam so if anyone knows who makes a cheap truly XL frame (long toptube) i'd love to hear about it.

The closest frame to your IRO that is still around would probably be a Surly Steamroller. Its an often overlooked frame, but its quality for sure.

Well, I know you want cheap, but a Wabi Classic frameset would really fit your needs IMO. It sells for $375 including frame, fork and headset, and is primo quality:

yes indeed i do!
speaking of cheap bikes with longer toptubes anyone have anything to say about this?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/MURPHY-HIMSE...item51ae5d5852
main concern based on the pictures is no bottle mounts but those can be added for less money than upgrading to a steamroller which only has one ayway.

Any idea what happened to IRO? Are they no longer in business? I own 2 Mark Vs and love them.
I've been toying with a new build, but I have always used IRO frames. Been looking at Pake and Wabi mainly for prices.
