it costs 150$ for a reason.

The frame itself is supposed to be stiff and reliable but the welds are big and ugly. If I were in the market for an aero-tubed track frame I would consider it.

We have 2 LV1s and so far no complaints, the welds do show but at least the beads are even and don't look so bad "dime roll" .

When I was looking for a frame, I didn't buy one.

My shop isn't an Unknown dealer for a reason.

Yeah, Scrod wants to be a Leader, not an Unknown. *rim shot*

Pake Rum Runner or Fyxation Eastside are reputable frames on the lower end. Or you could try finding some vintage steel frames on the cheap locally.

Are we still not allowed to just say "kilott"?

I've spent $150 on worse things. I would go for it, keeps the budget in check for other parts of the build.

Good luck with your build man, if that's the frame you like then get it so be it !!!

A frame is just a component like any other. If you like it, buy it, it's not as though it's expensive. If you build a nice bike around it and then decide the frame was the wrong choice, buy the right frame, swap the bits and sell this frame.

As for Scrod not being a dealer, maybe they DO have standards :roflmao2:
