Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Sorry Lads, Laddettes ... and Scrod

I'm baaaaaccccckkkkkk

Been busy looking after my daughter during the school holidays (long holidays here in Oz), being stupidly lazy, selling my beloved MGB and buying an MG ZR160 (you didn't get them in the US but imagine a hatch back weighing just over a ton with a 4 cylinder engine giving 160 hp ... before you change the computer chip ).

But my innate love of these treddly things and my rapidly expanding waistline (maybe my jeans are shrinking) means that I'm burning (bike) rubber, wearing out innocent cogs and, which is most devastating for you lot, taking a renewed interest in this place.

Sorry, I'm baaaacccccckkkkkk.

And I hope Daddy Christmas was overly generous this year.

Did you have to buy such an ugly car though?

I think I'd have kept the MGB, though I have an affinity for those since I've had more than a couple.

Don't apologize to me, man. I've always had a fondness for bickering with you from the other side of the planet.

Bickering? We could start an argument about that

Just for the fun of it (and to find out what happened to the forum), I just went to Retrogression. While there, I read the 'about us' page - made me go all misty it did.
