being in Canada, it's not the easiest to obtain a kilo tt (when sizes come available), but i may have to order online and drive down (as others have done). Just thought I'd check locally first, and was hoping maybe that frame might be something worth investing in. You're right though, at almost $300, it's better to upgrade to #kilott . This forum should really be re-labelled www.kilottfanclubforums.net lol.

lol yes - although ny state is starting to get a few tims. none of my local lbs have access to #kilott or else i would have jumped at them. one has started carrying pure fix, but thats hi-ten steel, and i'm keen on chromoly.
i might grab this one and build-up, if size is right. what do you guys suggest?

It looks really cool when you put your nice khaki shorts and a checks shirt with Sperry's on your feet and your wayfarers and roll down the hill on campus.
I bought the bike at a $165 an year ago and I expect to get $100 now, but yes we if you are really interested we can settle to a price.

The price seems a bit steep. Any thoughts on what a decent offer would be? Not too often that a fixed gear pops up for sale in my town.
