Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Pretty much. I'm really lucky that I can live at home, and have my parents help pay for housing, food, and community college. I teach at a high school marching band, and that's all my bike money.

Housing prices in the Bay Area are ridiculous though.

Thanks, it's a great bike. It's used almost exclusively as a commuter (as all of my bikes are), so I replaced the road levers with cross-top levers, which I find more comfortable when riding in dense traffic. I may keep the road levers on my next geared bike, though.

Well, you asked...

I'm selling the TCX (black/red) since getting the new one (blue/orange). No need two have to CX bikes.
