Finally satisfied with the build on my road shark. Now I want to build something dumb. Maybe an old merckx or zunow cannibalized into a flatbar roadie with a 1x9 drivetrain.

The new SUV is ridable. Next to build in the seats for the cargo.

I'm not one for fawning over bicycles, but I do believe that our bikes communicate with us, and what this bike is saying is, "You're an idiot." BikeSnobNYC

No matter, this thing does not ride like a touring bike. Short-ish chainstays, short front-center (gasp, it has toe overlap), and narrow fork. I may have added rake when I was realigning the fork and now it feel fast and responsive I'll just call it my CX bike for now.

I wanted to build up a touring bike for less than the cost of a complete bike, and I did it.

Yeah, I plan on getting new fenders and those ones fit on my BK perfectly so I did not want to adjust them too much. Its kind of a pain to get them back to fit on the BK.
