I just finished pimping out my Crosscheck with Schwalbe Big Ben 622x50, fenders, matching saddle and bar tape, and a new BB and chainring to turn it into a triple. I bent the plates on the front deraileur but plan on upgrading out of the Sora soon.

Slow to start but hold its speed pretty damn good and rolls over anything. Just did a century with it on Sunday.

Nice build!

I just put some Big Bens 559 x 60 on my old MTB, really liking them.

Updated pics, she is all done. Changed the bar tape, saddle, added Cosmic Pros, I got fitted last Monday all I need now is nail down the bar height so shop can cut the steerer tube. Did 50 miles today in windy conditions, not the best day to use those deep Vs I thought about turning back and changing wheels but oh this look and sound so sexy!,

You never want to put the pump head on the valve and wonder "Is it in yet?"

I once had a valve stem that was too short. I couldn't inflate the tube on the wheel. I found this out after getting a flat on the ride home in the dark. (got a ride with some nice folks in a mini-van, fortunately)
