By the way, I don't know if they think they are saving money by using the thin stuff but they are not. At school, I use like 4 times more than normal to ensure my finger safety.

I picked up this beautiful heavy duty Suntour GT derailleur. I have a small collection of Suntour RDs but I love the GT models.

Some of that old Suntour stuff is great. I remember back in my BMX days Suntour 16T freewheels were highly sought after (especially the chrome ones, I remember them selling for as much as $40). They were definitely nicer than the Shimano freewheels.

Speaking of rear derailleurs I just got this bad boy:
and also picked up a SRAM PC-991 chain. I just need to get shifters, brakes and get my wheel situation figured out and then when the frame gets here, build party, woooooo!

I love Suntour stuff. One of my life goals is to have a pro-grade 80s Japanese road bike with complete Suntour Superbe Pro group (Low Flange) or an 80s Japanese track bike with Suntour Superbe (High Flange).

Some handlebar grips in various colors
Metal silver coloured bottle cage
Shimano XT disc hub + accessories for bolt-on cog mounted conversion
Diagonal ReStrap's
Halo Retro rim + spokes
15mm Stubby spanner
Chain, cog, etc.
+ misc. spare parts.
All for my upcoming fixed gear conversion of my old '88 road frame. It's gonna be so fun converting it and taking it for it's first spin.
