Heh. Yeah I can see it. I got it mostly because I figured it would perform well in the rain.

I like mine, it keeps my head warmer in the winter. Will probably switch back when it gets really warm out, but for the most part, I'm a fan.

Did you get the shield? I kinda wish I was able to choose a no-tint visor without having to pay extra for it.

Vancouver summers are such that I expect to use this helmet year round without issue

I got some RHM02 bars for the roadie and some S500 levers for the 721. Next bike purchase I think is a track fork.

No, at the time the non shielded ones were marked down quite low, so I just got the normal one. So it sounds like you went full Power Ranger, then?

As stupid as this sounds, can you fit a pair of glasses under the visor?

I imagine not, but you never know.

I'm walking a thin line here... I bought a 14t cog for my budget bike.

I'm trying really hard to not spend money on it, but at the same time I'm trying to get a feel for track riding. Taking it to Hellyer this Saturday morning. The good news IMO is that the things I'm buying could be used on a new bike too...

Heh, that doesn't sound stupid. It's the 2nd most asked question according to the sales guy I had. (first question related to sizing)

To answer your question, yes, easily. I have glasses, but only need them for reading so for me it's a non-issue but I did test it quickly before responding. The shield attaches to the outer edge of the helmet and is a good inch or so off your face. This leaves ample room for whatever sized glasses you might have.

That's awesome. I think I have to get one now. I have a really strong prescription and I can't find a brand that can put a <-10.00 into a sport frame(I can't honestly expect them to), and the ones that can come with terrible amounts of peripheral distortion.

Sweet.

The helmet sits kind of high, at least on my head. It doesn't interfere with glasses even back at the ears. About the only thing I have noted so far is that while the magnets are secure, it does not take a lot to remove the visor. I noticed this while riding in the rain - I attempted to wipe the visor and pressing on it caused it to come off the mounts. I got it back on quickly/easily enough but there is a small learning curve (and a tense moment when I had a loose visor resting on my forearm while riding about 20 kph). Also, with the visor inverted it does block the primary air vents so you are not likely to want it in that position very long unless it's cold out.

My biggest complaint with the air attack is the inability to scratch my noggin.

Yeah, for sure. A 16T cog is plenty for that. A 46 x 14 is strictly a race gear.

Bianchi Super Pista fork for my 2006 Bianchi Pista Concept, so I can mount a front brake caliper for riding safely on the road. The original fork does not have a hole in the fork for mounting a brake. It was $189 with free shipping from City Grounds and I got the last one in stock.
