After buying my bike I only made a few purchaces. The first was a helmet (never wear it).
Next was a pair of LED safety lights (Great purchase)
I bought a reflective vest (Another great purchase)
Urban tires for my daily rider MTB (Better speed/Nice ride)
Rear view Mirror (Best purchase ever for a bike)
Recent purchases are combined for a "just in case" scenario since I ride longer trips now..............
Seat bag (All items below go in bag)
Patch kit
CO2 can
Spare tube
Tire levers
Tools
Bike lock

Ummm..the whole thing? I recently bought an Ascent single speed frame from Performance Bike, a Forte carbon fork, Easton bars/stem, Origin8 headset, Sturmey Archer crank, Purefix wheels, Forte clipless/platform pedals (clipless on one side, platform on the other--I plan on getting some cleats soon), Fi:zik tape, Shimano brake levers, SRAM brakes, Origin8 saddle and tube, Izumi chain, and Serfas Seca tires...I think that covers it. I just need a BB to finish it off but I want to fit one up at the LBS.
Once I get a blowout, I might go with Gatorskins or Thickslick tires.

Kind of an impulse buy, but I really wanted to know what tensions I was using, especially for my low spoke wheels.
I build a new pair of wheels (not always for myself) about once a year, and true wheels usually 4-6x a year, so it'll be used often enough

picked up some kenda kriterium endurance tires in 25mm because both of my thick slicks crapped out on me.
Front one isnt round or warped so it will not sit on a rim without a bump. Rear one started seperating from the inside of the tire to where if you inflate it to a rideable psi there is a huge sideways bulge. Heres hoping these tires work!
ive tried hutchinson and they wore out super fast and got destroyed on vegas streets, tried a vittoria rubino pro and it imploded as well. its funny because gatorskins didnt last long either, the only two tires i had that lasted where a standard cst and a older michelin krylion but it was on a bike that got stolen.
i check tire pressures regularly, i avoid potholes, glass and debri whenever possible. I think the tire god hates me.

A second VO Gran Cru Course drop bar because I need the reach, comes in 46cm width, and the ramps/drops are huge for my huge hands

I never understood why all road bars weren't shaped like that. I'll never understand how guys used to ride with the bars sloping down to the hoods.
Picked up some carbon headset spacers to replace the silver aluminum ones that clashed with my black headset and stem. Plus the carbon is all matchy-matchy with my seatpost. I also replaced the faceplate bolts on my stem due to the hex heads being nearly stripped despite this stem supposedly being NOS when I bought it.

I bought THIS off a customer friend. So now I have a bunch of cool vintage parts like a Stronglight crank, Campy Record derailleurs, and a front Phil Wood hub.

I'm going to try to repair it so I can have a shmancy easy riding bike for the co-op or nearby bars. This bike is just too pretty
