Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Yep, I bought it. It's a bit over the top, but it'll be fun to wear for club rides and charity events. Hehe.

My theory is, if you decide to wear the "look at me" cycling kits, you might as well have some fun while you do it.

I also have the Heavy Pedal bandito kit. I get quite a few looks in that one as well. "You look like a pinata!"

This arrived today. They originally sent the small by accident so I had to exchange it for the medium.

I got some Conti Grand Prix Classics for my Cilo along with some conti tubes and rim strips (I was running dangerous apparently whoever changed the flat in the rear last didn't use a rim strip)

Imaboutta get some Giro Terraduro shoes cause ****ing Scott can't send the shoes I ordered and I might also throw in a pair of Treble IIs because I do have some old SPD SL pedals that I might wanna use and the shoes can also do 2 bolt cleats if I don't wanna use them. Hoping that new Synthe helmet comes out soon because that also might be on the list.

Picked up a (used) Brooks Swallow off Craigslist for the Basso, really enjoying the newfound comfort.

Today Bessie got some new cables and a tune up. I also finally bought a set of Park tire levers and a spare tube after being caught out on a group ride last week.
