S3x setups on SS frames

I am in the process of installing a SA s3x fixed hub on my all-city nature boy. I am looking for some solutions for cable routing/stops. I would like to see some images of people who have done the same. Right now my current plan is to run a bar line from the hub up to a pulley attached to the seat post and then use cable housing and after-market "clip on" cable clamps to rune across the top tube and handlebars. But, I am at a loss for what to use for a cable stop where the shift line exits the cable housing and proceeds onto the pulley.

I am going to state the obvious, but this installation is no different from a regular geared hub. So your issues would be specific to your frame.

I like to run the cable following the traditional route for a rear derailleur, and use fully sheathed cable. The advantage of running it that way is that you only' need one cable stop. (down the downtube then along the right chainstay). Not as pretty though.

This might help though.

You could:
- get a clamp-on dt shifter unit and run the shifter on the dt, no housing, bare cable all the way to the hub. Downside is, the clamp on unit is ugly, you are only using one side, and you will need to either drill and tap (maybe?) to put a cable guide on the bottom of the BB or run a pulley at the bottom of the seat tube.

- or you could go with thumb or bar end shifter and run a cable stop on the dt, and then the same routing.

- and as noted, you could go with full-length housing, utilize either clips or zip-ties, and finish at the end with the Sturmey Archer Axle Fulcrum Lever + hardware.

I already have the SA 3sd Bar end shifter. I plan on riding throuhg a lot of crap, so dont want to do the downtube/bb method.

My though was to do something like this

What is the point of the fulcrum arm?

Absolutely you could do that -- same problem solvers (or maybe even SA makes a stop?) cable stop at the front on the tt; I like the problem solvers bolt-on pulley better than the SA version on either the tt as pictured or the st.

Fulcrum arm bolts onto the axle, you put a cable adjuster on the other end, and then you have a cable stop if you are running full housing, or housing from some other stop along the way. Not needed if you are going bare cable to the hub.
