Brakes or No Brakes.

I'm wondering about what you prefer.
Brakes? No Brakes?
Straps? Clips? Toe Straps? Nothing on your pedals?
Record skid length?

I ride brakeless, nothing on my pedals, and my record skid length is 31 feet 2 inches.

I ride brakeless, because i originally got new bars and my lever no longer fit. Just kind of stuck with it.

I like straps. I have clips on one bike but straps feel a lot more secure.

If you have to ask about a brake... You need a brake.

Get a brake, never trust the common stupidity of the inattentive driver.

I don't need to skid for 31 feet before I can stop. I can just back pedal and pull my front brake and I slow down pretty quick. You should try it one time.

I can get my steamroller stopped quicker by doing that than my disc brake equipped mtb using your method.

Can skid, but don't like skidding. Prefer to have my tires last a reasonable amount of time

Yeah I don't really skid at all, I always just use my front brake and foot pressure.
