yeah it was between the madison or the windsor plus. the windsor plus is 60$ shipped cheaper but I like risers, deep v's, and lower gear ration. still chromoly frame.

basically I dont have to do anything to to bike except set it up and ride. with the windsor I knew I would have to change to gear ratio at least which would cost $ and the madison is much sexier 2013 model in grey. wahaewaaww

and a set of deep v tires cost like 200$ alone ive seen so 100$ more for a chromoly frame seems like a pretty good deal. the seat looks of higher quality as well.

Perhaps, but don't you think they'd be trumpeting the frame material if it was chromoly steel. Also, they do say:

FORK
SE straight Leg Hi-Ten w/ Fender Mounts & Wide Tire Clearance

Also, on the more expensive SE Lager they say:

FRAME
New 2014 Urban Single Speed Design, Butted Top Tube and Down Tube, Cr-Mo Seat Tube, Integrated Seat Clamp, Water Bottle & Fender Mounts, Wide Tire Clearance
That's fine and dandy - but I was just pointing out that it's not always as easy as going to the manufacturer's site (as you suggested) to get more info if you don't know what you're looking for in the first place.

And I was just pointing out that you can't count on information being accurate that is shown on third party websites.

Hey Scrodzilla, yeah I just thought I didnt know what I was reading on SE's website because it doesnt tell you what kind of material now the new SE lites are made out of. But anyways, it was actually your Madison thread that you started that made me want to get the Madison. I thank you ha!

Except that the older Madisons that are shown in Scrod's thread were nicer, but still the newer ones like you bought will be much better than the SE Draft Lite that you fortunately didn't buy. Anyways, I'm sure you'll be very happy with your choice. Just make sure you get a good lock.

You're right, but not anywhere near "10x better" or even better at all, for that matter.

I also like chile verde. Pork is good. Carnitas is the bacon of Mexico.

Lets transfer this pissing match to subjective matters, like taste.

ya in mexico those were street tacos and they were amazing and super cheapp. We dont have a big rotating thing of meet, and I guess street tacos are technically taqitos, not what gringos think of as taqitos as like a rolled corn tortilla. We got that chile verde too and we got one your local mexican place dont got called chile colorado! all very popular, our line is always out the door!

Im a film maker and I like photography, soo actually the old skewl white tire look of olds cars was a factor in my purchase because I wanted that classy look for photos. and the tires should hopefully provide a smooth ride on some sketchy city streets.

im happy to find the bike is part of their signature line, if that makes any difference and comes with a lifetime warranty. so thats a plus.
