Rainy Days

In this area (eastern PA) it rain a lot! Other then fenders, what do you do to keep the steel frame from rusting out?

It doesn't rain a lot in Eastern PA. Also, fenders don't prevent a frame from "rusting out".

Spray Framesaver in the frame if you are worried about rust inside the frame. Wipe it down after you ride in the rain. Give it a thorough cleaning as desired. That's it really.

Don't leave the bike outdoors when you're not riding it. And a good wipe down afterwards.

Doing a quick average annual rainfall comparison, Allentown, PA outdrizzles Seattle, WA by quite a bit. Who would've thought? 13% above the national average...

The Colorado Kid IS from Boulder, CO. I wish I could go back and live there again but a job calls me to PA.

Yeah, I'd much rather live in Boulder than in Eastern PA. Hopefully you'll get home soon?
